Air Master takes care to use the right materials for each product to ensure they deliver outstanding performance. The Air Master high performance glass panels for windows and doors include a variety of glass options to choose from in order to suit your needs.

HIGH PERFORMANCE GLASS

Tempered glass (used in regular sliding standard patio door sizes)

Air Master Windows and Doors provide an extensive variety of high performance glass. Our tempered glass comes in a variety of sizes from 3/16” thick to 1/4” thick. We provide a variety of colors including clear, solex, bluegreen, gray, bronze, clear frosted, bronze frosted, clear frosted annealed and bronze frosted annealed.

Laminated glass

One of our most highlighted products is the laminated glass. It is a laminated interlayer sandwich between two sheets of glass in varied thickness, similar to car windshields and aircrafts windows. The “glass sandwich” comes in several variations depending on the need: from 1⁄4” laminated glass (.030 INTERLAYER) to 5 /16” impact resistant laminated/annealed glass (.090 INTERLAYER) which will break upon a severe impact, but it will not allow the flying object or water to enter through the glass.

We also offer 7/16” AND 9/16” laminated heat strengthened glass (for special products), and a great variety of reflective glass by special order. All laminated glass can be ordered in clear, solex, gray, bronze, and ice.

ALUMINUM

The vast majority of Air Master Windows and Doors products use an aluminum extrusion of 6063 T-5. This material provides the best security and style for all our high impact products. The thickness of the aluminum ranges from .062" thick to .125 thickness, depending on the product, in order to comply with the wind loads stated by the construction code of Puerto Rico and the Miami Dade County impact resistant codes. Our powder coating machinery applies the powder coating electrostatically and cures it under heat to form a "skin" and create a hard finish that is tougher than conventional paint. Our standard colors range from white, almond, gray, bronze and chocolate. Plus over 200 different colors available by special order according to the RAL color scheme.

Air Master is the only manufacturer of windows and doors in Puerto Rico certified by the Miami Dade County. The company has successfully completed over 700 residential and/or commercial projects.
